Cant be fucked with Poker anymore after only breaking even for 100 thousand hands! :-( And got University to concentrate on!

6 Max, 10nl, Rakeback

After the worst downswing I ever had I decided to try something new and scary. 6 max all the way. Playing on another site with 30% Rakeback which will add to the BB/100

Seeing as I've now reached the dizzying heights of 10nl, I think it's time for me to update my style a little as well as updating some rules!

1. No mass multi tabling (4 tables max)
   
2. No more Full Ring (Not learning anything from it other than nitting it up)


3. No more stupid long sessions (2 hours top)


4. Study my game better (2 Videos/week, look over my HH more)


5. No drinking when playing

Oh and heres the nice little heater that gave me a little confidence back again ;-)

I've never experienced a run like this :-( When the bad beats started comming in thick and fast I realy didnt care at all, business as usuall and all that! But after the next 20k hands of rivered flushes, rivered Aces etc, set over set, rivered fucking over sets, AA owned by 75s AIPF.............Fuck it!

10nl today was rough. The villains were your usuall spewmonkeys who let you get them all in as a 4:1 dog or worse! And you know the rest of the story.........

It's tough for me not to be results orientated when I've just moved up, 'cos now I have to move back down again!

Oh, and what is with all the fucking short stackers at 10nl? Fuck me I hate short stackers! Very tilting to see them doublke up their 20bb stack and fuck off instantly!

Reviewing my goals

•Only one initial $20 deposit
This was easy, even though I only had 10 BI for 2nl to start with

•Play at the lowest possible level (2NL) until I have at least 20 Buy ins for the next level
I turned into a total Bankroll nit!

•Post results graph at least every 3000 hands
No need for this at all realy, and defo not every 300 hands!

•Play nothing but Cash Games (no tournies)

Another 10k and out of the hole, and hit right in the face with the deck!

Started using Holdem Manager Table Scanner, it's pretty handy!! ;-) Worth a look at!

Ran shit hot this morning, played for half an hour 250 hands and up 4oo bb :-) After running so shit for so long I got smacked in the face with the deck! Aces 3 times in the space of 5 hands at the same table, a boat and a set on another.

So 1oo Thousand hands or so is what they say it takes to find out how you're doing? Fair enough.

Found out that I'm not playing one pair well at all. It's my biggest leak! Top/top I have found must only be value bet!! It's not a strong hand!!

100,000 Hands

Thats my first 100k done, unfortunatley it ends with a 6 BI downswing! Still not moved up to 10l yet, dont know why not, I need to get a move on though!!

EV line has evened it's self out as it should, I'm loving whats happened to my red line (still dont know what happened there)

I'm finding myself looking less and less at my HUD for advise on my actions these days and more and more at villains betting paterns. At these levels it has become obvious when a villain has hit and is trying to get paid. The regs however are just as easy to fuck with!

Got bored with the nano stakes!!

Yep, I got bored of playing like a rock, and although it's the only way to beat the lowest stakes, I just got bored of it!! So, I thought I would hit up some 6 max!! weeeeeeeeeee..... Bang!!!

I wont mention the many beats, but my play was terrible, had stats like 45/40. Attemps to isolate the fish rarley worked, C-Bets were almost always getting called, and to be honest, I just got bored and tilted away alot of it.

I have the bankroll for 10nl, so next weekened I'm gonna start tearing that up :-)

And no 6 max, 'cos I sucks at that!!

I can never be arsed staying up to play at peak hours, but I'm definitely still bieng carefull with table sellection!!

Took a shot at 6 max yesterday...failed!! So gonna stick at what works for a good bit yet!!

Started using TableNinja for help multi tabling, it is a fantastic piece of kit!! I'm basicaly just using it for betting certain percentages of the pot and can now do so at the click of a mouse

Still plodding along at 5nl, but can often be found at 2nl too as the latter has looser action and the pots are the same size. But its time to make a move up to 10nl again very soon, so we're well on our way to a cool 1k/

One more thing, I've started playing less tables, my max now will be 6. I think 14 tabling was a little over my head and my win rate just fell!!

Not had much time for online this past week with all the boozing, but took a stab at a live casino 50 man 10 pound rebuy. The final 8 players made a deal, we would take a share of the prize based on chipstaks, I was 3rd chip leader and after 7 hours of play, took home 300 pounds.

This doesnt count as part of my online challenge though and the money from this win wont be added to my bankroll.

First loosing streak in a while. Got the money in waaaaay ahead every time as usuall, KK cracked by some gypsi with 7,5o. AA cracked 3 times in a row, every one of them all in pre flop!!! It tilts the fuck out of me so much when this happens that I request a 24 hour ban before I go full tits into mad monkey tilt!!!

My final thought.... If it wasnt for suckouts, the fish would never win a big pot, there for there would be no fish!!

Thats us rolled for the next level now, 10nl. The blinds at 10nl are 5c/10c and the max Buy In is $10. The pots will start to get a lot bigger at these games so should get more interesting!!

Someone had asked what I was tracking hands with, sorry, I couldnt reply on your blog. I'm using Poker Academy Prospector at the moment. Will prob get PT3 at some point, but it's doing me fine for now. Using realtime HUD too btw.

The average pot size at 5nl seems to be smaller than 2nl, and as you can buy in to 2nl for a max of $5 I think I might just stay there until I'm rolled for 10nl!!

Took a wee break from the Interweb Pokaz for a couple of days, the games were really tight and pots were pretty small. Online pokers not quite as easy during the week days when your opponents are sober!! Did really good today though!! Yeeehaaaa!!!


Aces as far as the eye can see!! Nice enough on one table, but nicer on two!! Even nicer again when your on the button on both tables!! And its even more extra fucking nice when they hold up and win a nice couple of pots!!

Hit a fucking bitch of a bad stretch with some fantastic suckouts and bad beats!! Was stuck 7 BI at the lowest point, but it wasnt long 'till we were back in the swing of things, the fish cant river me every hand!! Ended the session right back on top of things.
Also, check out the action at this table!! This guy just came from NL600 or something to have some fun. He went all in every hand for about 10 mins or so, donated about $40 to the table. I got fuck all though unfortunatly!!

Another 800 hands on Sunday afternoon took us to the required 20 Buy Ins for 5NL. However, I'm gonna stay at 2NL until I have 30 Buy Ins for 5NL. I want to be over rolled for every level!!

Played another couple of thousand hands today, the games were pretty tight at first but after about 17.00 GMT they got really loose and wild again.

Lots of people trying to bluff me off hands with trash hands that you wouldnt believe!! Added another table, so playing 4 now. Gonna start updates here every two thousand hands from now on or I'll be writting this non stop as it doesnt take long to knock out a thousand hands when 4 tabling!!

After a pretty poor stretch on Thursday, a thousand hands or so on Friday soon got things back on track!! The tables are completley mad at the weekend!! Hit about 3 sets durring this 1000 hands and got paid off on them pretty well!! Yeehaa!!

Been going pretty damn strong, although I did start spewing chips over the last couple of hundred hands.

Had a hand with full house over full house and set over set and I lost a couple of Buy ins and ended a little down. Not too bad really.
